How do I use Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Answer

Interlibrary Loan is available to current Barry University faculty, staff, and students.

The following is the form for interlibrary loan requests: Barry University Library ILL Account

Before using this Online Interlibrary Loan Form, make sure you have done the following:

1. Please check the BLISS Online Catalog to see if Barry University Library owns the books/journals. ILL will not process a request for items held by the library.

2. Please check Electronic Journal Directory to see if the journal is available full text, online via library databases.

If the item you are requesting is available by either of those means, Barry will be unable to request it from another institution. Also, certain current textbooks, rare or expensive books, and films may be unavailable through the loan process.

If you have forgotten your password to log onto ILLiad and need to have your password reset, please send an e-mail to Marvilean Brown.

For any assistance regarding Interlibrary Loans please call 305-899-3943.

The Interlibrary Loan Assistant is available Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5:00 PM.
